This weekend, my spouse Sadie and I will stand in Bethany and say yes to one another. We have been legal partners since 2024, but soon we will gather with our family, friends, and church community to celebrate our marriage.  

It feels fitting that we’re celebrating during our Called for More worship series. Because being called for more doesn't mean becoming something entirely different. Oftentimes it means stepping more fully into the life that is already unfolding around us...

Apple Bash & BBQ Recap

What a day! Perfect fall weather, delicious BBQ and potluck sides, music from Allie Hulen, happy kids, and lots of great Bethany fellowship made this year’s Apple Bash one to remember. A huge thank-you to everyone who helped set up, serve, play, and clean up — you made the day possible!

And then there were the bees. They were very interested in the festivities, especially dessert, but thankfully we’ve heard of no casualties.
