Called for More: A People Set Apart to LoveBy Pastor Katie Mueller Our world today tells us that success means producing more, buying more, and achieving more. We are encouraged to measure our worth by our accomplishments, our possessions, and our ability to keep up. But God calls us to a different kind of more. We are called to remember who we are and whose we are. We belong to God, and that changes everything. That brings us into our stewardship season at Bethany. During stewardship season, we invite our community to reflect on how God is calling us to use our energy, abilities, relationships, and financial resources. Community News
Organ Recital with Dr. Aaron Knodle Our own Dr. Aaron Knodle will present a free, open to the public, and family-friendly, organ recital on Sunday, November 1, at 3:00 p.m. This is a wonderful opportunity to hear Aaron share the breadth and artistry of the pipe organ through music that extends beyond what we typically hear during worship. Aaron will be joined by guest artists Nichole Nordschow, soprano, and Dr. Ayesha Chetty, piano. We hope you’ll join us for an afternoon of beautiful music and a chance to experience our organ in a whole new way. |

Financial Results for September 2026
Income in September was $59,278 which was above the budget of $44,075 by $15,203. However, year-to-date income of $494,576 is still below the budget of $542,280 by ($47,704). We are also below last year's income of $543,258 by ($48,682). Our net deficit for the first nine months is ($46,391) compared to last year's net surplus at nine months of $5,912. So on a net basis, we are running $52,303 behind last year. And we are hoping for a very strong fourth quarter. The mortgage balance, after the September payment of $2,270 (principal $614 and interest $1,656), is $345,905.
