Bethany Lutheran Church is thrilled to celebrate the journey of our Associate Pastor, Pastor Katie, as she steps fully into her call to serve in ministry with us. Pastor Katie has been faithfully serving alongside us since September, sharing her gifts and leadership with our congregation.
On Sunday, December 8, 2024, Pastor Katie was officially ordained at Salem Lutheran Church in Sycamore, Illinois. This sacred and joyful ceremony was attended by leaders of the Lutheran church, family, friends, and members of the congregation. It was a meaningful day, marking a pivotal moment in Pastor Katie’s spiritual and professional journey.
We now look forward to celebrating Pastor Katie’s installation as Associate Pastor at Bethany Lutheran Church. This special service will take place on Sunday, December 22, 2024, at 9:00 AM, followed by a reception where we can join together in fellowship and gratitude.
