This fall, we are beginning a new worship theme: Called for More. And Genesis 12 gives us a beautiful place to begin.

...and a congregation that never ceases to amaze!

What a day! Over the past several weeks, the whole Bethany congregation came together with generous gifts of time, talent, and treasure to make our God’s Work. Our Hands. day possible—from organizing and shopping to baking, stitching, assembling kits, and preparing a wonderful meal for everyone. Together, we packaged an incredible 10,152 meals through Rise Against Hunger to help fight food insecurity around the world, and the entire event was supported by the generosity of our congregation. Bethany, you never cease to amaze!

Parents, We Want to Hear From You

What would help you and your family feel more supported by Bethany? On Wednesday, September 23 at 6:00 PM, Peggy Lemond and Michelle Sprague will lead a discussion with parents to hear your ideas, experiences, and suggestions. This is a chance to share what’s working, what could be better, and what you’d love to see from your church community. All parents are welcome! Come share your thoughts and help us think together about how Bethany can better support families.

Income in August was $55,673 which was below the budget of $67,155 by ($11,482).  For the first eight months of the year, income is below budget by ($62,907) and below last year's actual by ($64,382).  Our net deficit for the first eight months is ($47,463) compared to a budgeted deficit of ($15,171). The mortgage balance, after the August payment of $2,270 (principal $612 and interest $1,658), is $346,519.
