Youth - Middle and High School

At Bethany, we understand Confirmation as a beginning, not a finish line. It’s a season for young people to explore their faith with honesty and curiosity, especially as they start asking deeper questions about God, life, and their place in the world.

We want this to be a space where those questions are welcomed. Where teens are known, supported, and cared for as they grow. In that spirit, our Confirmation journey is shaped by three commitments: building meaningful relationships, nurturing a living and growing faith, and learning the core stories and practices of the Christian tradition, with particular attention to our Lutheran heritage.

When students complete the program in the spring of 8th grade, they participate in a Confirmation Sunday service. In that moment, they affirm the promises of baptism and speak their faith in their own voice, trusting that faith continues to unfold over a lifetime, held by the God who has always held them first.
