We’re offering Holy Communion Classes during the 2026 Lent season! 

At our church, children of all ages are welcome to receive Holy Communion. There is no special requirement to participate. This class is an opportunity for children and caregivers to learn together about Holy Communion, the sacraments, and why they matter in our faith. 

Things to know: 

  • Our communion class is typically offered each spring. 
  • The class is designed for children of all ages and stages; many children attend between the ages of 5–11. 
  • Parents and children attend class together. 
  • This is a two-session class, and attending both sessions is encouraged. 
  • Children may attend the class whether they already receive communion or have not yet done so. Both choices are faithful and welcome, and we support whatever your family decides. 

Class dates: 
    Wednesday, March 18 and March 25 6:00–7:00 PM 

As a way of celebrating their participation in the class, children will be invited to share Holy Communion together during the Maundy Thursday service on April 2 at 6:30 PM, honoring what they’ve learned and experienced together in our community.
