Bethany Lutheran Church was proud to participate in both the Crystal Lake Pride Walk and the Woodstock Pride Parade this June, joining hundreds of community members in celebrating love, inclusion, and belonging.
Members and friends of Bethany walked in both events, sharing a visible message of welcome and support. Bethany also hosted a booth at both events, where visitors were invited to create a fabric square for The Quilt of Belonging, Bethany's growing community unity quilt.
The project sparked meaningful conversations and creative expression as participants added their own messages, artwork, and symbols of hope. The completed squares will become part of a larger quilt that reflects the diversity, stories, and shared humanity of our community.
