We are delighted to share some wonderful news from the Endowment Board of Trustees. This week, the Board approved three significant applications that reflect our commitment to serving our community and supporting those in need.

1. Grief Guide Retreat
We understand that the loss of a loved one is an incredibly difficult journey. To support those grieving, we are funding a retreat through the Grief Guide program. This retreat will provide a safe space for individuals to find comfort, healing, and connection with others who share similar experiences.

2. HealthySmarts Nutrition Program
In an effort to foster healthy habits from a young age, we are proud to support the HealthySmarts initiative, which brings nutrition education to children in grades K-3 within School District 47. This program aims to equip our children with the knowledge they need to make informed dietary choices, promoting long-term health and well-being.

3. BraveHearts Outpatient Clinic Renovation
We are also excited to announce our support for BraveHearts, an organization dedicated to assisting veterans and their families. Our funding will help renovate an outpatient clinic that is crucial for preparing participants before they engage with therapeutic horses, as well as for conducting post-therapy evaluations. This initiative not only aids veterans in their healing journey but also strengthens the bond between our community and those who have served.

These initiatives reflect our mission to embody Christ's love through action and compassion. We invite you to keep these programs in your prayers as they unfold, and consider ways you might get involved or support these vital efforts.

Thank you for your continued generosity and support. Together, we can make a meaningful impact in the lives of many.
