On Sunday, September 12 we will be having God's Work Our Hands Sunday! There will be one worship service at 9 am (indoors and livestreamed on YouTube). Afterwards (around 10 am) we will go outside for fun, service projects, and fellowship for all ages.  We'll play music and have food, including a Kona Ice truck to serve sno cones! We'll celebrate this community and work on a variety of service projects!

Please sign up in advance and let us know what service project you are interested in being a part of, you can read the project descriptions below.

Property Projects
You may want to wear yard work clothes instead of your Sunday best on the 12th!  We need some landscaping help (pulling weeds, trimming overgrowth, planting grass seed). We'll have extra gloves, waste bags, and, of course, water, but we also need some tools: garden shears/hedge clippers (electric or wired), pruners, rakes, and shovels (for deep weeds).

Baby Kits
The kits are for Lutheran World Relief and are distributed globally! We need volunteers to pack kits with all of the items we've been collecting (list of needed items can be found here).

School Kits
These kits are also through Lutheran World Relief. We have all the supplies we need, we just need your hands to put them together!

Head Start Goody Bags
We want to welcome the Head Start families back to school and offer our hospitality! We have baking mix, spatulas, and a blessing that need to be put together.

Refugee Kit Assembly
We are hoping to partner with an organization in Illinois to make kits of needed supplies.

Box Packing/Assembly
As volunteers put all of these kits together we need some people to pack the kits into boxes!

Food Server
We're excited to share in fellowship with all of you an need some folks to serve food as we enjoy this day together!
