A dedicated crew from Bethany Lutheran Church, led by Hector Mendoza, spent Sunday afternoon preparing 400 tamales for this week's Las Posadas celebration. Their hard work and culinary efforts set the stage for a meaningful and joyous event.
Join us this Wednesday, December 18th, at 7:00PM as Bethany Lutheran Church hosts Las Posadas, a cherished tradition that commemorates Mary and Joseph's journey to Bethlehem. This special celebration will feature music and leadership provided by members of St. Andrew Lutheran Church in West Chicago. Pastor Rafael Malpica Padilla will deliver an inspiring sermon.
The bilingual service, conducted in both English and Spanish, promises to be an enriching experience for all. Following the service, attendees are invited to enjoy food, fellowship, and the excitement of a traditional piñata.
