Saturday Dress Rehearsal (9-11): Please arrive at 8:45 in Luther Hall. We will be doing a full song practice, then a full run through of the program. We will break for a snack and then get into costumes and do one more run through. We plan on ending at 11am. This time is important for the cast to have time in the Sanctuary.
Sunday Christmas Program: During the 9am worship service.
-
Please have your students meet in the drama room (head down to the community room, keep going around to the Sunday school wing) at 8:30 am.
-
Students will get into costume and head up to service. After the program, students will go back down to the dram room to come out of costumes.
-
We will meet the congregation as they exit the sanctuary. After the receiving line, students will head to Luther Hall to meet up with their parents and get snacks.
-
After the service, families and students will have special treats in Luther Hall during fellowship hour. Please join us to celebrate their (and yours) success!
Welcome to the Holiday Fun!
Get ready for a light-hearted, totally not-so-perfect Nativity play that tells the Christmas story in a fun and musical way! Imagine this: Mary’s a bit stroppy (that’s a fancy word for “grumpy”), a wise man is totally confused, and one angel… well, you’ll have to come see the presentation to see what that angel is up to.
This presentation combines readings from the Gospels of Matthew, Luke, and John and everyone can follow along. What's the best part? It’s all about the theme that God came to us at Christmas, even when things weren’t perfect.
Immanuel, God With Us, no matter the mess or muddle.
Come laugh, sing along, and remember that Christmas is about love and joy—even when things don’t go exactly as planned!
