Youth Community Garden Service Project – June 25

Youth are invited to join a special hands-on service opportunity on Thursday, June 25, from 9:00–11:00 AM at Hill Farm Acres (695 Barlina Road, Crystal Lake).

Participants will spend the morning working alongside longtime community gardener Caro Lynn Whaples, who has cared for a beautiful community garden in Crystal Lake for more than 50 years. Together, youth will learn about gardening, help with planting and weeding, and discover how caring for creation can be an expression of faith and service to others.

Families are encouraged to send youth with gardening gloves, trowels, and hand shovels if available. RSVPs are requested to help with planning.
