Today, the congregation said goodbye to our Interim Pastor, Pastor Paul Petersen. It is hard to believe that just one year ago he joined us during an important season in the life of our church.

Throughout his time at Bethany, Pastor Paul offered steady leadership, thoughtful guidance, and a caring presence as our congregation entered a time of discernment and transition. His work with the Call Committee helped us reflect on who we are, who God is calling us to be, and what gifts and priorities will shape our future ministry together. The foundation he helped lay will continue to guide Bethany for years to come.

As we prepare to welcome a new chapter in our congregation's story, we do so with deep gratitude for Pastor Paul's faithful service among us. We give thanks for the wisdom, encouragement, and compassion he shared so generously.

It is with bittersweet hearts that we say goodbye, trusting that the work God began during Pastor Paul's time with us will continue to bear fruit in the years ahead. We wish him God's richest blessings as he begins the next step of his journey, and we thank him for helping point Bethany toward a joyful future.
