During the season of Lent, our Art Wall has been transformed into a sacred, interactive prayer space — a visual expression of release, trust, and renewal.

An Invitation to Release

Throughout Lent, worshippers are invited to participate in the Prayer Wall, right outside the Sanctuary, centered on reflection and surrender. This quiet, meaningful practice encourages each of us to consider:

  • What binds your heart or spirit

  • What you are ready to release to God

Paper is provided so you can write down your prayers and place them on the wall as an offering of trust and hope. As the weeks unfold, the wall continues to grow,  a living testimony of burdens surrendered, prayers lifted, and hearts leaning into God’s mercy.

Lent is a season of honest reflection, and this shared visual space reminds us that we do not journey alone. Each prayer placed on the wall represents courage, faith, and the promise of renewal.

The Sunday School Lent Chain

In addition to the Prayer Wall, our Sunday School classes have begun creating a Lent Chain. This paper chain grows link by link throughout the season. On each link, students are writing the ways they are drawing closer to God, through prayer, giving, and serving.

Every link represents a small but meaningful step of faith. Together, the chain is becoming a colorful and joyful reminder that spiritual growth happens one faithful practice at a time.

As the Prayer Wall fills and the Lent Chain lengthens, our worship space visibly reflects what Lent is all about: releasing what weighs us down and intentionally drawing closer to God.

We invite you to participate, to reflect, and to be part of this shared journey toward Easter hope.
