As our Wednesday evening Lenten services ended for the season, we turn our hearts toward the meaningful and memorable experience of Maundy Thursday.
Dinner, Worship, and Community
Thursday, April 2 at 6:30 p.m.
Maundy Thursday will begin with a unique Dinner Service, a time to gather not just in worship, but around the table together. As you arrive, you’ll be invited to prepare a plate of food and find a place to settle in Luther Hall, where the service will begin.
Moving into the Sanctuary
Following dinner and the message, we will transition into the Sanctuary for another kind of meal… Holy Communion.
This moment will be especially meaningful as we celebrate alongside our youth who have been preparing through Holy Communion classes and will be receiving the sacrament. As a full church family, we’ll come forward together, united in Christ, remembering His love and sacrifice.
Stay for Something Special
And the evening doesn’t end there…
Immediately following the service, you’re invited to stay for a special showing of the 2012 production of Jesus Christ Superstar.
This powerful and dramatic retelling of the final days of Jesus’ life brings the story of Holy Week to life through unforgettable music and storytelling. Whether you’ve seen it before or it’s your first time, this is a fun and meaningful way to continue the evening together.
Grab a seat, relax, and experience the story in a whole new way—it’s going to be a memorable and engaging end to a truly special night.
