We’re just one week out from our annual God’s Work, Our Hands (GWOH-2025) celebration.  We can’t wait to spend faith and fellowship with you!

This year’s theme, Fajita-Palooza, promises a fun day of multigenerational fellowship and delicious food, based in our mission to serve others.

What’s New This Year?

We’re excited to launch a yearlong fundraiser in partnership with Rise Against Hunger, an international organization dedicated to ending global hunger through hands-on meal-packing events.

Our year-long journey begins on September 7 and will lead us to GWOH-2026, when we will welcome the Rise Against Hunger team for a full meal-packing experience at Bethany.

At this Sunday's service, we are honored to welcome special guest Taylor Rosted from Rise Against Hunger during worship, who will share more about the profound impact of this organization and how the Bethany congregation will help make a difference.

Event Schedule – Sunday, September 7

10:00 AM – One Worship Service Only
Join us in the Sanctuary for a special service featuring guest speaker Taylor Rosted from Rise Against Hunger.

11:00 AM – Fajita-Palooza Lunch
Immediately following worship, enjoy a fun and festive fajita lunch with the whole congregation.

Following Lunch – Hands-On Service Projects

  • Create care kits for local outreach

  • Support local and global missions

  • Sign up for an upcoming Feed My Starving Children event

  • Browse and support the Bethany Youth Bake Sale

  • Youth will meet their teachers

How You Can Get Involved This Week:

  • Donate items for care kits and service stations, due Tuesday September 2.

  • Volunteer to help with setup, cleanup, or decorations

  • Bring a side dish or baked goods to share at lunch

  • Help serve food or assist with a service station

  • Invite a friend or neighbor to join in the fun

  • Sign up for the off-site Feed My Starving Children event

  • Already signed up to volunteer? Watch your email for details about your task
