About Pastor John Gerike, in his own words:
I retired from full-time pastoral ministry a couple years ago to have more flexibility to travel, especially to visit family. My wife, Ruth, and I have two grown sons. Brent and his wife Katie live in New Paltz, New York with two children. Juniper is 5 years old and James is 1. Brian and his wife Betsy live in Watertown, Wisconsin with three children. Anna is 9, Will is 5, and Wesley is 2. It's a wonderful crew!
Prior to retirement, I served congregations in Kansas, Missouri, and most recently Naperville. Ruth and I enjoy music and lots of outdoor activities — hiking, biking, golf, and tennis.
Core to my faith is the belief that “nothing in all creation can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord (from Romans 8).”
