CHRISTMAS GREETINGS 2024
Dear church members of Bethany Lutheran Church.
We, the church members of Kiutu Lutheran Church, greet all of you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, our Savior.
We trust that this email finds you and your families well.
We thank God we are well and our families are doing well too. Arusha is raining and the temperatures are a little high ranging from 17 C (low) to 26 C high: This is about 60F and 75F).
The people of Kiutu Parish are doing okay. The last three months of the year are normally the busiest of them all in our churches. It is the time where many church activities take place. Apart from other church activities, there was Baptism for both little children and adults including confirmation classes and weddings. This year witnessed confirmation classes of about 70 youths. We thank God because the number of church members is increasing.
We would like to congratulate the Associate Pastor Katie for her ordination. We wish her God’s blessings as she takes over her new role at Bethany Lutheran Church.
We are very excited about Christmas and New Year festivities. This is the time where family members come together for reunion. Schools are closed so all students from elementary schools and secondary schools go to their homes for long vocations which lasts for six weeks). The University and college students also close for one week so they go to their homes to celebrate Christmas with their families.
On behalf of all the church members of Kiutu Lutheran Church we bring to you Christmas greetings. We also wish you a Happy and a prosperous New Year 2025 filled with God’s abundant blessings.
“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government will rest on his shoulders. These will be his royal titles: Wonderful Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace”.
Isaiah 9:6 KJV
With kindest regards
